in the Spring of 2014, when a few friends met to start a charitable group that would do something good with the things we love to make.  Our first meeting was in June 2014 and by August we were qualified to receive the tax-exempt status by the IRS.

OUR MEETINGS

We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 10:00 am.  We are not affiliated with Phillips United Methodist Church however, they have provided us with a place to meet. The address is 1450 South Pierce ST, Lakewood, CO.  For their generosity we" pass the hat" for contributions to be given to the church.  We neither require any dues nor membership fees.

A typical meeting consists of a show and tell of the items each member has made for that month.  We have demonstrations on how to do different projects.  We have guest speakers attending periodically.  Reports are given by board members.  We are fortunate to receive donations of fabric and other craft items by friends and family members.  These items are displayed and members go "shopping".

IT ALL STARTED

Our members are from the greater metro area.   At present we number some 33 members.  All have an equal voice in our endeavors.   Our common bonds are crafting and wanting to give those crafted items to persons who are in need
